SITUATION 1 – The client was a hedge fund management firm looking to replace manual process work arounds with some workflow automation to enable faster decision making and reduce the re-keying of transactional data.

SOLUTION 1 – Engaged to design and develop a demonstration application for a K2 Black Pearl Technical Partner. Designed and built process flows and user forms (the interfaces) and linked to external databases with SMART connectors to showcase how K2 Black Pearl can surface and present data from several systems for decision making and write the decision to a third system. This scenario was based on trading and settlement systems to fix trade settlement exceptions.

OUTCOME 1 – The client demonstration went very well resulting in a request for a piloting phase.

SITUATION 2 – The client was a government department looking to replace manual work with workflow automation to enable faster management of complaints received from within the prison service.

SOLUTION 2 – Engaged in a team to design and develop a demonstration application for a Metastorm e-Work workflow system to automate the complaints management process.

OUTCOME 2 – Produced the process’s happy day scenario and alternative flows, produced user interfaces/ screens and fully tested the system prior to user trials commencing.
