The mandatory Record of Processing Activities document is a living document that needs regular maintenance work. A review might be triggered by a specific change in business practises or systems, new client service offerings or engaging with new client segments.

We have built and populated several Record of Processing documents via extensive discovery work in the financial services, legal and construction/ social housing sectors.

The latest work was in Luxembourg for a financial services business composed of 30+ legal entities, running 150 business processes, on approx. 400 applications, serving 2000 clients in 40 offices spread across multiple jurisdictions. Most clients were fund managers themselves running multiple funds, each with a multitude of fund investors.

Previously we’d prepared one for a London construction and social housing company with over 100 systems and 37,000 clients. Before this we’d developed one for a London based magic circle Law Firm.
